artsVestTM Program Connects Mississauga Businesses with the Arts Community

In collaboration with the Mississauga Board of Trade, the City of Mississauga is bringing the artsVestTM program to Mississauga for 2014 – 2015.

artsVestTM  is a program run by Business for the Arts, a national association of business leaders that strengthens relationships between the business and arts community.  The artsVestTM  program provides matching incentive funds and sponsorship training for arts and culture groups.

The program launch will provide local cultural organizations and businesses with more information on how they can get involved with the program.

Cost: Free

Background

Arts and culture organizations in Mississauga will receive free sponsorship training and will be invited to apply for a total of $60,000 in matching incentive grants.

Combined with sponsorships of equal or greater value from local businesses, this could result in an investment of at least $120,000 for Mississauga’s creative economy.
