Be a Part of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games!

Volunteer applications are now open and Mississauga residents are invited to get involved in the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games.

Apply in person to be a Mississauga volunteer for the Games and meet Pachi, the mascot of the Games.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meet Pachi from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Frank McKechnie Community Centre and Library
310 Bristol Road East
Mississauga, ON

Anyone who is unable to attend the April 26 Volunteer Day can apply online any time at toronto2015.org/volunteer.

The online volunteer application takes about 20 minutes to fill out and captures information about skills and experience, preferences and availability. Selected candidates will be asked to undergo interviews, starting in June 2014. Positions will be offered beginning September 2014 and continuing up to Games time.

In addition to an unforgettable experience, all volunteers will receive a keepsake uniform and training, as well as earn a volunteer certificate from the Province of Ontario, recognizing their Games training to help them stand out in today’s job market.

Mississauga’s Hershey Centre to be known as the Mississauga Sports Centre during the Games, will be host to Judo, Karate, Taekwondo and Wrestling during the Pan Am Games and  Goalball, Powerlifting and Wheelchair Rugby during the Para Pan Am Games.
