Celebrate Family Day in Mississauga

On Monday, February 16 enjoy some much-deserved family time with a full day of winter fun happening throughout Mississauga. With exciting indoor and outdoor activities scheduled, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Free Family Day City Activities

Mississauga Celebration Square – noon to 4 p.m.

Head over to Mississauga Celebration Square for free Family Day activities proudly presented by RBC.

  • caricature artist
  • carriage rides
  • face painting
  • food trucks (Beavertails or Wheeling Gourmet)
  • ice bowling
  • ice sculptures
  • meet and greet with former Toronto Maple Leaf’s hockey player, Rick Vaive (1 to 3 p.m.)
  • skating

Family Day Holiday City Service Hours

City offices will be closed for Family Day on Monday, February 16.

Libraries will be closed on Sunday, February 15 and Monday, February 16.

Animal Services will be closed. Officers will be on standby for emergencies and can be reached at 905-615-3000.
