Visit the One Million Trees and Earth Market Earth Days event
As part of Mississauga’s Earth Days celebrations, the City is launching the first Earth Market and hosting our annual One Million Trees planting.
When:
April 25, 2015
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain or shine)
Official ceremony and tree planting – 9:30 a.m.
LEAF Tree Tour – 10 a.m.
Earth Market Photo Opportunity – 10:30 a.m.
What:
The One Million Trees planting event will include a guided tree tour with LEAF (Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests).
The Earth Market is a free event featuring workshops, info booths, live music, a film screening, tasty local food options and green activities for the whole family.
