Mississauga residents invited to join the Streetsville pollinator showcase garden community event.

Environment | May 23, 2018

Now that spring is here, let’s celebrate the warm weather and sunshine with pollinator-friendly gardens. Funded by the Scotts Miracle-Gro’s GRO1000 grant, the City of Mississauga is hosting the Streetsville Pollinator Showcase Garden event to celebrate the creation of the garden. This year is the 150th Anniversary for Scotts Miracle-Gro. Over the years, they have supported the creation of more than 1,000 community gardens and green spaces through GRO1000.

On Tuesday, May 29, join us for a celebration including community booths and family-friendly activities for all ages. An official ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
