City Celebrates Accessibility Through the Years

On June 5, the City’s Accessibility Advisory Committee will host an event to recognize National Access Awareness Week. The theme is “Celebrating Accessibility Through the Years” in honour of Canada’s 150th anniversary. The event will showcase the City’s progress in creating and maintaining an accessible and inclusive community.

The City will also celebrate excellence in accessible customer service by presenting the 2017 Exceptional Accessible Customer Service Award to City staff.

The community is invited to attend and celebrate accessibility with exhibitor booths, tasty treats and more.
