City of Mississauga Celebrates Outstanding Citizens

The City of Mississauga’s Civic Award of Recognition Evening will honour more than 100 Mississauga residents for their outstanding contribution to the community. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the program.

Reception: 8 – 9 p.m.

2016 Civic Recognition Award recipients

The ceremony will be held in the Council Chamber. A reception will follow in the Great Hall.

The City of Mississauga has been honouring residents through the Civic Recognition program since 1992. Over the past 25 years, the City has recognized more than 4,000 volunteers, athletes and community leaders. Other awards in the program include the Certificate of Recognition, the Civic Award of Merit and the Civic Award of Philanthropy.
