Countdown to 2019 on Celebration Square this New Year’s Eve!

The countdown is on to the biggest bash of the year! Mississauga Celebration Square is the place to be on December 31 to ring in 2019.

NYE 2019, presented by Pizza Pizza, features an impressive lineup of Canadian talent, including Mississauga’s own R&B and hip hop artist, Anders, all-female hip hop collective, The Sorority, Juno-award winner, k-os and platinum-certified breakout duo Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine.

Kick off your night with a dynamic DJ Skate on the Celebration Square ice rink and be sure to stay for food trucks galore and a spectacular fireworks show at the stroke of midnight.

Activities are weather permitting. To ensure safety, please note that the skating rink on the Square will close at 11 p.m. on December 31 in preparation for the fireworks show.

Transportation: 
Please be advised that road closures will be in effect in the downtown core between December 31 and January 1. For a map of the closures, visit celebrationsquare.ca.

MiWay is offering free rides on routes across the city on New Year’s Eve from 7 p.m. on December 31 until 4 a.m. on January 1 to ensure event-goers get home safely. More information on fares and holiday bus schedules are available at miway.ca/holidayservice.
