Cycling Enthusiasts One and All — it’s Nomination Time!

Is there someone in your neighbourhood, workplace or family who has gone the extra mile to promote cycling as a mode of transportation? The City of Mississauga’s Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC) is calling out to our community to nominate cycling advocates for the Phil Green Recognition Award.

The award is presented annually by the MCAC to a resident or group of residents who have shown a commitment to furthering a culture of cycling in our community.

What:
Call for Nominees – Phil Green Recognition Award

When:
Nomination deadline – Monday, March 17, 2014 (see nomination form for full eligibility rules)

How:
Download a nomination form online. Nominations can be sent by mail or email to addresses listed on the form.

The MCAC will review the nominations and select the winning candidate. The winner will receive the award at a City Council meeting this spring.
