Did you know that Mississauga now has better access to researchers and software that can understand future travel on our road system?
The City’s Transportation Committee recently supported a recommendation for Mississauga to join a group headed by the University of Toronto that pools resources and transportation data from across the region.
The partnership will allow the City to better understand overall travel behaviour as well as develop, test and implement improved freight movement throughout the city.
The recommendation will go before City Council for approval on January 22.
