Today, the City of Mississauga’s Budget Committee completed its review of staff presentations and reports. The committee has recommended a draft 2015 Budget to City Council for approval at its February 11, 2015 Council Meeting.
Council will consider the impact of the 2015 Budget which amounts to 1.3 per cent on the City’s portion of the residential tax bill. Including the proposed Region of Peel increase of 0.9 per cent and assuming no increase in the provincial education rate, the total increase in Mississauga’s residential property tax is expected to be about 2.2 per cent.
