“As restrictions lift, we are all eager to get out and enjoy summer activities safely,” said Mayor Bonnie Crombie. “There is so much to do in Mississauga and I encourage you to explore some local activities in our beautiful city while supporting our local businesses. We all know that many of our businesses have had a tough year, so let’s come together and choose activities in our city this summer and show them how much we value them.”
The #MySaugaSummer website can help you plan a family day trip or a staycation getaway, venture off the beaten path or try something new in your own backyard. Remember to support local and check out the many unique #MississaugaMade businesses. Residents and visitors are encouraged to share their Mississauga adventures, staycation selfies and day trip stories on social media using the hashtag #MySaugaSummer for a chance to be featured on Tourism Mississauga’s channels.
“We are excited to welcome residents and visitors back to explore Mississauga in a safe way this summer,” said Toni Frankfurter, Chair, Tourism Mississauga. “With so much to see and do right here, there’s no need to travel outside of the city to find just the activity you’re looking for.”
