Funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to be Streamed Live at Celebration Square

The funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be streamed live on the large media screens at Mississauga Celebration Square starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, September 19.

The Book of Condolences for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that has been available in the Great Hall at the Mississauga Civic Centre since Friday, September 9 will continue to be available until 9 p.m. on Monday, September 19.

The flags that have been flying at half-mast since the announcement of The Queen’s death on Thursday, September 8, will be returning to their full-mast position on Tuesday, September 20. The Civic Centre clock tower will also be dimmed to recognize Her Majesty’s funeral the evening of September 19.

The City of Mississauga will also pause all operations, including all MiWay buses, for 96 seconds (the age of The Queen at the time of her passing) at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 19 to observe the provincial moment of silence.
