Provide your input on the new Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan at the Malton Community Centre on Sunday, November 23 or by filling out an online survey.

Environment | November 21, 2025

Do you have ideas on how to make the Malton neighbourhood more environmentally sustainable, vibrant and resilient? Help shape the Malton Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP). This initiative is a collaboration between the City of Mississauga, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), the Region of Peel and local community groups.

This action-oriented plan will address a range of environmental, social and health-related issues within the neighbourhood to enhance the quality of life in the community while building climate resilience and encouraging sustainable practices. The SNAP includes all residential areas within Malton as well as two adjacent employment areas.

Have your say by filling out a survey or attending an open house at the Malton Community Centre on Sunday, November 23 to provide input on future priorities for the Malton SNAP.

Almost 2,400 residents and community members engaged in the previous SNAP processes, which resulted in an action plan with five goals and 29 actions.
