Green Your City with One Million Trees

The City of Mississauga is hosting its annual One Million Trees planting event as part of Earth Days 2016. The event will include a tree planting, a neighbourhood tree tour, activities and exhibitor booths.

One Million Trees Earth Days 2016

Enjoy free outdoor activities, including:

  • tree planting with Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) and Evergreen
  • neighbourhood tree tour with Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests (LEAF)
  • activities with Ecosource and Association for Canadian Education Resources (ACER)
  • exhibitor booths

When:

Saturday, April 23, 2016
9 a.m. – noon

  • 9:30 a.m. – Opening remarks
  • 9:45 a.m. – Photo-op
  • 10 a.m. – Tree planting and activities
  • 11 a.m. – Neighbourhood tree tour
