Looking for Fun March Break Activities in Mississauga – Look No Further

March Break means spring is on its way – but before we get there, the City has loads of exciting activities to make waiting for spring easier for residents and visitors.

Stop by your local library during March Break for free or cheap interactive programs filled with stories, animals, arts and crafts, movies, workshops, science experiments, filmmaking and so many more activities for all ages. Check your local library for a full list of activities and program times, visit: mississauga.ca/library.

Register for March Break Camps and other activities
If you haven’t already done so – register your child, tween and/or teen to a camp this march break at one of our 40 locations across Mississauga. The camps are focused on a variety of areas that will fit the interest of any 4 to 14 year old. Check out how to register. While you’re at it, why not sign up for summer camp too! Maple syrup

Enjoy Maple Syrup Season
Do you love maple syrup and want to know how it’s made? Learn how sap is collected from maple trees and turned into maple syrup by taking a tour with an interpreter at the Bradley Museum from March 9 to 17. You’ll also be able to enjoy maple taffy demonstrations, historic house tours, petting zoos and many more activities throughout the week. Calligraphy

Spruce up Your Poetry or Calligraphy Skills
Join us at the Small Arms Inspection Building on March 16 and 17 from 1 to 4p.m. for poetry and calligraphy workshops. This two-day workshop focuses on inter-generational dialogue through creative writing and art-making. The workshop encourages participants of different generations to work together to create text and images.
