Make the Most of Your Long Weekend this Family Day in Mississauga

Family Day is on Monday, February 15. Connect with family and friends by attending one (or more) of these fun indoor and outdoor activities in Mississauga.

Family Day at the Square
Mississauga Celebration Square – noon to 4 p.m.

Head over to Mississauga Celebration Square for free Family Day activities proudly presented by RBC.

  • arts and crafts
  • Beavertails food truck
  • busker shows
  • children’s fortune teller
  • face painting
  • interactive musical bike
  • meet and greet at the RBC tent with former Toronto Maple Leaf’s hockey player, Dave Ellett (noon to 1:30 p.m.)

Family Day | Snow Day at the Museum
Benares Historic House – noon to 4 p.m.

Spend Family Day with the Museums of Mississauga.

  • arts and crafts including “how to make snow” craft
  • exhibitions tours
  • hot chocolate stand and food samples
  • learn about First Nations’ relationship with snow through language and games
  • join in the 1st Annual Snowman making contest (snow dependent)

Family Day Holiday City Service Hours

City offices will be closed on Monday, February 15 for Family Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, February 16.

MiWay will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on Monday, February 15. Visit MiWay’s mobile site, m.miway.ca to view bus schedules, or call MiWay’s 24-hour automated system, Citylink, at 905-615-4287(4BUS).

Libraries will be closed on Sunday, February 14 and Monday, February 15.

Animal Services will be closed on Monday, February 15. Officers will be on standby for emergencies and can be reached at 905-615-3000.
