Media Update, April 24 – Industrial Fire on Thamesgate Drive

Update on the condition of the four Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services (MFES) firefighters injured yesterday in Malton:

• one firefighter was released yesterday
• the other three firefighters sustained injuries in the explosion and received medical treatment for their injuries and remain in hospital.

Background:
Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire at a storage facility yesterday morning in the Thamesgate and Airport Road area – 2797 Thamesgate Drive.
