Due to the pandemic, the Honourable Chief Justice’s Order on November 25, 2020 extended time limits for proceedings in the Ontario Court of Justice prescribed under Provincial Offences Act for suspensions and plate denials until February 26, 2021.
On Monday, March 22, 2021, the Mississauga Provincial Offences Court, located at 950 Burnhamthorpe Road West, will start working through all Provincial Offences Act (POA) matters for suspensions and plate denials, as there has been no further extension granted by the Honourable Chief Justice.
Anyone with POA matters with the Mississauga Provincial Offences Court are encouraged to call 905-615-4500 or email: court.admin@mississauga.ca to check the status of matters that apply to them. Please also refer to the City of Mississauga’s Pay Provincial Fines to determine if you will be affected.
