Mississauga Youth are All About That Bass

On May 4, students from the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board are gathering at Mississauga Celebration Square to participate in Music Monday. This annual event brings together students, musicians, parents and community members on the same day, at the same time, across the country to celebrate the gift of music. Carlos Bustamante from YTV’s The Zone will host this one-hour event as students perform on stage.

Special guests include – EnviroDrum, Morning Star Middle School and St. Marcellinus Secondary School Drum Lines, Choirs from Birchbank Public School and St. Rita’s Elementary School and bands from Erin Centre Senior Middle School and Sts. Martha and Mary Elementary School.

Music Monday is part of the City’s Rebel15 youth campaign, a youth-led festival of creative expression and community involvement happening from May 1 to 7 in Mississauga.
