Mississauga’s Fire Station 108 is ready to ignite excitement at its community re-opening event

Bring your family, meet your local firefighters and join Mississauga’s Fire and Emergency Services team, along with Mayor Carolyn Parrish, Ward 11 Councillor Brad Butt and dignitaries, for a free community event to re-open Fire Station 108 on Saturday, December 13.

Visitors can tour the newly-upgraded station, see a fire truck up close and learn life-saving tips from the experts.

Station upgrades include:

  • Decontamination facilities designed to reduce exposure to harmful contaminants and improve firefighter health and safety.
  • Separated, ventilated gear storage rooms to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper airflow.
  • Fitness room to support firefighter wellness and physical readiness.
  • Dedicated training and meeting space for ongoing professional development.
  • Modern amenities to enhance comfort and functionality for daily operations.
