The City of Mississauga and Peel District School Board have partnered on a state-of-the-art sports complex at Lincoln M. Alexander S.S. It features an artificial turf field that can host multi-sports including football, soccer, field hockey, field lacrosse and rugby. It also features an all-weather, synthetic, four-lane track. The complex also provides a multipurpose basketball and ball hockey courts. The field is utilized by Lincoln M. Alexander S.S. during regular school hours and can be booked by the public on evenings and weekends through the City’s permit processes.
This complex enhances the active participation of the students’ curricular and extra-curricular activities while offering the community access to a new, outdoor sporting facility to gather and stay active, improve health and wellness complementing the features of the adjacent Malton Youth Hub – Jonathan Davis Centre, which opened in 2023.
