MiWay Adjusts Service in Response to Evolving Customer Demand

City services | May 28, 2020

On June 1, 2020, MiWay is realigning existing service to meet the evolving travel needs of customers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Service adjustments include:

  1. The reallocation of selected trips to busier routes in order to accommodate returning customers as the reopening phases begin. As physical distancing guidelines have restricted seating capacity on buses, MiWay is working to meet the evolving travel patterns of customers.
  2. On Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, buses will operate on a holiday schedule and service will be cancelled on the following four routes:
    • 6 Credit Woodlands
    • 28 Confederation
    • 35 Eglinton-Ninth Line
    • 68 Terry Fox

Plan your trip on miway.ca or call 905-615-4636 for customer service. Please limit travel to essential trips only to help flatten the curve. MiWay remains an essential service to get you to the grocery store, to the pharmacy, to work or to the doctor. The Government of Ontario now recommends those travelling on public transit to wear a non-medical mask or face covering. Customers are reminded to keep their distance while travelling and wash their hands after every trip.
