MiWay service changes start October 26 and holiday schedule begins December 21

Select routes are revised to align customer demand with service levels.

Starting October 26, the following MiWay routes are adjusted to improve operational efficiency, align service to demand and improve service reliability.

Holiday service in effect from December 21, 2026 to January 3, 2027

During this period, MiWay will operate reduced weekday service on select dates to reflect lower customer demand during the holiday season.

  • Routes 18 Derry, 126 Burnhamthorpe Express and 135 Eglinton Express will not operate on weekdays.
  • Route 44 Mississauga Road will operate with fewer trips.
  • School routes and supplementary school trips will also be paused during the secondary school holiday break.

Customers celebrating New Year’s Eve can take advantage of extended late-night service on select MiWay routes operating after midnight.
