McCracken Community Park is a popular park where the public has enjoyed play areas, a seasonal ice rink and seating areas.  The park addition adds more space and features which include:
• a multi-use pad and half basketball court
• hop-scotch line painting and drop shot basketball
• two cool misters
• an informal free play area
• additional benches and
• a new walkway to connect the existing play area to Stoney Cresent and Ozzie Drive

“The larger green space and additional amenities will accommodate the new residents just moving into the area,” said Ward 10 Councillor Sue McFadden. “I’m so proud of this beautiful park and I’m sure it will be a wonderful gathering place for the community.”
