If you’re looking to hold a wedding reception, bridal shower or engagement party, the City has many unique facilities that support any budget, number of guests and amenity requirements.
The Small Arms Inspection Building is a historic, multi-purpose building that houses a wide range of arts and cultural programs. This venue has 18,000 square feet of flexible, open-concept industrial space, with a capacity for 400 people. Did you know: in 1940, the site became a large munitions plant manufacturing rifles and small arms for the Canadian Army through the Second World War until 1974. Women made up the majority of the factory’s workforce.
Towering 12 stories above downtown Mississauga, this contemporary venue features floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing panoramic views. Complimentary on-site parking after 6 p.m. and on weekends is available – and this location also offers free audiovisual equipment and many options for customized menu and bar options. Did you know: 300 City Centre Drive is also the location of Mississauga’s Council Chambers and the Art Gallery of Mississauga. The building contains more than 20,000 tons of marble.
In the heart of the Mississauga is BraeBen Golf Course. This venue has floor-to-ceiling windows and the Highlands Dining Room boasts 180-degree serene views of pristine fairways and rolling hills with the ability to host a banquet of up to 200 guests. Customized menus, complimentary parking and audiovisual equipment are available, as well as a private outdoor patio space. Did you know: besides golf, you can also play FootGolf at BraeBen. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The rules are the same as golf but played with a soccer ball.
