The official list of candidates for 2026 Municipal Election has been finalized. One hundred and twenty-eight candidates are running in the upcoming Mississauga 2026 Municipal Election. Review the list of certified candidates.
Elected by Acclamation
The following candidates ran unopposed and were elected by acclamation:
- School Board Trustee, English Separate: Mario Pascucci, Wards 1 and 3
- School Board Trustee, English Separate: Stefano Pascucci, Ward 4
- School Board Trustee, English Separate: Luz Del Rosario, Wards 6 and 11
- School Board Trustee, French Separate: Jennifer Green-Frank, Citywide
About the 2026 Municipal Election
The 2026 Municipal Election is on Monday, October 26, 2026. Mississauga voters will elect the Mayor, Ward/Regional Councillor and School Board Trustee for their area.
If you are unable to vote on Election Day, or it’s more convenient to vote earlier, you can participate in Advance Voting, which will be open from October 6 to 11. Voters can vote at any Advance Voting location. A list of voting locations will be shared online in the coming weeks.
On Election Day, October 26, voters can vote at any voting location in their ward.
