The 2014 Municipal Election on the Go!

If you are crunched for time and need to find out about the 2014 Municipal election on the go, the City has made the mississaugavotes.ca website compatible with various mobile devices. For those on the go, you will be able to find polling locations, information on candidates and more from your handheld device quickly and easily.

Plan to Vote: Visit the website to add the vote widget to your calendar. All you need to do is click on the widget and it will add a reminder to your calendar for Election Day.

Twibbon “I Voted” social media campaign: Show your online network that you voted in the 2014 Mississauga Municipal Election – it’s easy!  Add an “I Voted” Twibbon to your Facebook or Twitter profile picture. About the 2014 Municipal Election in Mississauga
The 2014 Municipal Election is on October 27, 2014. Eligible voters will be able to vote for Mississauga’s new mayor, their ward councillor and school board trustee. Don’t forget to bring your Voter Notification Card and acceptable ID when you go to vote.

Election Results – Unofficial up-to-the-minute election results will be available on October 27, 2014 after 8 pm on mississaugavotes.ca. Official results will be posted after October 30, 2014.

Mississauga Youth, tell us why you vote!  You could win money for school. If you are a Mississauga resident between the ages of 17-25, Tweet, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube your reason by using the hashtag #Ivotebecause and tagging @CityMississauga.
