The City and Sheridan College Need Ideas for Scholars’ Green – Mississauga’s Newest Downtown Park

The City of Mississauga in partnership with Sheridan College invites you to give your input at an open house about the future uses and activities for the next phase of Scholars’ Green.

What:
Scholars’ Green is part of the City of Mississauga downtown parks system and the Sheridan College Mississauga campus. The vision is for Scholars’ Green to be a vibrant, connected and identifiable park space in the downtown. The first phase of this urban park was completed in 2011 and is open to residents, visitors, Sheridan students and those who work in the surrounding community.

Why:
The City and Sheridan College encourage you to attend the open house to share your thoughts. Your ideas will help inform the type of activities and amenities that will be designed and built into the next phase of Scholars’ Green. This is your opportunity to tell us how you want to use your future community park.

When:
Thursday, February 5, 2015
Two session options are available for your convenience.
Session One:  1 to 4 p.m.
Session Two:  6:30 to 8 p.m.

Where:
Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus
4180 Duke of York Blvd.
Main Foyer/Atrium

Who:
City of Mississauga staff will be on hand to provide more information and to answer questions.
