This evening there was a commercial property fire at an auto body scrap metal business at 3402 Mavis Rd.
Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services (MFES) are currently on site attending to the fire. Residents are being asked to avoid the area.
There are currently no injuries to report. No buildings in the immediate area have been impacted.
MFES has notified the Ministry of Environment and will monitor air quality and the Region of Peel’s Spill Co-ordinator is onsite monitoring runoff.
