The City is hosting a virtual engagement session to seek input from residents and stakeholders about long-range plans for the next five to 10 years for Culture, Recreation, Parks, Forestry & Environment, Library, and Fire & Emergency Services divisions.

  • User groups (sports groups, clubs)

  • Local business owners and operators
  • Members of the arts, culture and heritage communities
  • City staff

Background

The City is creating long-range plans for the next five to 10 years on the City’s Culture, Recreation, Parks, Forestry & Environment, Library and Fire & Emergency Services divisions. To create these plans, input and ideas from the community are being collected and combined with feedback from other stakeholders, targeted user groups, data and trends. Plans will align with Council priorities, address concerns about existing programs and services, and investigate innovative and unique opportunities to enhance them.
