Voters Can Update Their Info Online until September 2

City services | August 14, 2014

Residents who are eligible to vote can go online to voterlookup.ca to add their names to the municipal voters’ list, change their personal information or confirm their information is correct until September 2, 2014.  After September 2, voters in Mississauga who need to add their names to the list will have to visit the Mississauga Civic Centre in person.

Voterlookup.ca helps voters to a speedier experience at the polls and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An up-to-date voters’ list helps municipalities run elections more efficiently.

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) launched voterlookup.ca earlier this year.  MPAC is responsible for providing preliminary lists of electors to municipalities for the municipal election coming up on October 27, 2014. Municipalities use these lists to create their final voters’ lists.

For more information about voterlookup.ca, visit MPAC’s website at www.mpac.ca or call 1-866-296-6722.

To change your voters’ list information after September 2, visit the City Clerk’s Office on the 2nd Floor at 300 City Centre Drive.  For more information about the 2014 Municipal Election in Mississauga, visit www.mississaugavotes.ca or call 905-615-VOTE (8683).
