What Does Meaningful Community Engagement Look Like to You?

The City is looking at how we engage and consult with residents on City planning and services. Residents are invited to share their thoughts on what future consultation with the City can look like by completing an online survey or attending a community workshop.

Community Workshop #1

Date:

Tuesday, February 7

Time:

9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Location:

LC Taylor Room, Mississauga Valley Community Centre (1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd.)

At the first meeting, participants will be asked to share their feedback on how the City currently engages with the public and discuss ways we can improve.

Community Workshop #2

Date:

Thursday, February 23

Time:

9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Location:

Youth/Senior Room, Meadowvale Community Centre (6655 Glen Erin Dr.)

The second meeting will focus on sharing the results of our findings and prioritizing the key themes.

Online survey

Residents can share their thoughts on what good engagement looks like by taking the online survey before March 3, 2017.

The City will be using this information to help develop a future focussed and innovative Community Engagement Strategy.
