Starting Feb. 26, 2024, Ontario’s One Fare Program will provide transit riders with free transfers when connecting to and from MiWay and the TTC, GO Transit, Brampton Transit, York Region Transit (YRT) and Durham Region Transit.
This program will deliver significant benefits for MiWay customers who want to transfer between MiWay and the TTC at any location where the two services connect.
MiWay customers can connect with TTC service at several locations including Renforth Transitway Station, Humber College North Campus, Westwood Square Transit Terminal, Long Branch GO Station, Toronto Pearson International Airport, and the Kipling Bus Terminal in Toronto which is MiWay’s largest transfer location with the TTC with more than 1.7 million boardings annually.
To transfer for free customers must use one of the following payment methods:
Customers must tap the same fare payment method throughout their trip each time they board a bus to have the free transfer automatically applied to their card.
Free transfers are valid for two hours if you start your trip on a local transit agency such as MiWay and for three hours if you start your trip on GO Transit (regional bus and train service).
MiWay has established fare integration programs with GO Transit and other transit systems.
