Report Dead or Damaged Sod

Use this service to report dead or damaged sod on City property

Note:

  • Sod is replaced during the months of May to June and September to October
  • The City does not replace sod that has been “burned” (dead, brown grass) due to salt from Winter Maintenance operations

To submit a request you will need to:

 

1. Provide a valid Mississauga street address

You need to provide the street address for this service request. If the address cannot be found in our system you may need to call 3-1-1 to make your request.

2. Provide your contact information and email

Your email address will be used to send you a confirmation, and to help you receive status updates on your request.

Please confirm the following:

 

I am reporting damage to sod on City property.

If the damage is on private property call 3-1-1

This damage is not creating a hazard or public safety risk.

If the damage is causing a public safety risk and is therefore dangerous call 3-1-1.

I am not calling about sod damage in a ditch.

To report sod damage in a ditch call 3-1-1.

The personal information will be used by City of Mississauga Staff for responding to your service request and/or inquiry. We may also follow-up with you or collect feedback once the service request has been closed. Start Date

An inspection will start within 3 business days, weather permitting and the area made safe. 

End Date

If further work is required, it will be incorporated within the maintenance schedule.
