The Gentle Density Incentive Program

The Gentle Density Incentive Program incentivizes the creation of second, third and fourth rental units in neighbourhoods. For more information, visit Additional residential units.

This program is possible because of the Affordable Rental Housing Community Improvement Plan (CIP). The CIP is the overarching tool that allows the City to offer both this incentive program and Incentives for building affordable rental housing.
