Apply for a transitway access permit

The transitway access permit allows you to use the City’s dedicated bus lanes for construction and project work. You will need this permit to:

  • Access your private property through the transitway
  • Load or unload equipment on transitway lands
  • Park vehicles or equipment on transitway lots

Your application must include:

How to submit an application

  1. Download and complete the transitway access permit application form and certificate of insurance.

  3. The City will send you an email with the electronic fund transfer form and payment instructions. Follow the instructions provided to complete the application process.


Each permit costs $302.11 (HST included).

What happens next

Once you have paid the fees, you will receive a copy of your permit by email.
