Parking

From May 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022, fines for parking and stopping violations will increase to $100 in some areas. This applies to all local roads, City parks, and municipal parking lots south of Lakeshore Road, from east city limits to Meadow Wood Road. Learn more about the increased fines.

Apply for permits, pay tickets, make a parking complaint, or find information about municipal parking lots, garage locations and on-street parking.

  • Temporary parking permit
    Apply for a temporary permit to park on a residential street.
  • Accessible parking permit
    Apply for an City-issued accessible permit to park on the street in front of your home if your driveway is restricted.
  • Paid extended parking permits
    Apply for special temporary permits for commercial property parking and longer-term residential parking.
  • Parking tickets
    Pay or dispute a parking ticket online or in person.
  • Report a parking offence
    Information about reporting residential and private parking offences.
  • Request parking regulation changes
    Ask the City to change the parking regulations on your street.
  • Parking lots and garages
    Purchase a parking lot pass. Learn about municipal parking and parking garage locations.
  • Metered on-street parking
    Metered parking is available on the street in Clarkson, Cooksville, Downtown Mississauga, Port Credit, and Streetsville.
  • Winter parking
    Avoid parking on the street when it snows. If your vehicle is parked illegally you may be issued a parking ticket.
