We hope this site will both assist your group in understanding and updating your status under the Community Group Support Program as well as provide you with tools and resources such as, Board Governance, Not for Profit Groups and Status, Grants & Funding and everything you need to know about becoming or developing a community based group!

The City of Mississauga is pleased to invite a member of your Affiliated or Recognized Community group/organization to participate in an information session regarding proposed changes to the Community Group Support Program Policy. Proposed changes to the Policy strengthen our volunteer groups and their boards to continue to provide an invaluable service to Mississauga residents. We recognize that our volunteer community groups provide tremendous benefits to our residents and foster highly worthwhile and valued citizen involvement in our communities.

We┐re requesting that one representative from each Affiliated or Recognized Community group/organization attends the information session to share opinions and thoughts regarding the proposed policy changes.
