Subdivision Construction

What many people may not realize is that as quickly as subdivisions seem to materialize, there is a very detailed and organized process that must be adhered to before builders can actually start construction.

It all typically begins with the City's Official Plan which designates land use within the City of Mississauga. Privately owned land may be used for development or redevelopment depending upon the zoning allocations stated within the Official Plan and subsequent secondary plans. Land which can be subdivided into blocks for purpose of sale. Builders purchase the blocks of land and in turn sell individual lots to future homeowners.
