Mississauga Comic Expo (MCX) is where fandom comes to life. Hosted by Mississauga Library, this free event invites everyone for a celebration of creativity, community and the stories that inspire us to connect, learn and discover.

An action-packed schedule

MCX features a lineup of workshops, panels, interactive activities and more. Suit up for the cosplay red carpet, strike a pose at the green-screen photo booth and browse the MCX Trading Post for unique finds. Learn the art of gag comics, build miniatures and draw in chibi-style. Try out new board games or test your skills in free-play video games and trivia contests. Stop by the Manga Lounge to connect with fellow fans and browse a wide selection of manga.

Families can also enjoy fun activities including sketch challenges, Pokémon crafts, LEGO building activities and a dance party.

Friday begins with fun activities and a superhero movie screening. On Saturday, enjoy an exclusive lineup featuring more than 120 exhibitors, special guests and activities, including:

  • Learn how to write comics with the author of the popular ADHDino webcomic series.
  • Listen to the sounds of superhero and fantasy music with Pianist Cheryl Duvall and composer/guitarist Andrew Noseworthy.
  • Unlock the secrets of shapeshifting at a make-up tutorial hosted by Drag Academy.
  • Plus, many more adventures to discover.
