About the Hazel McCallion Central Library

The Hazel McCallion Central Library first opened its doors to the public on September 23, 1991. After serving the community for 30 years, the library closed on March 20, 2021 to undergo a major renovation to meet the growing and changing needs of customers and business priorities. A highlight of the newly-renovated space is a show-stopping piece of artwork titled Lightfall by Nathan Whitford displayed in the atrium.

More information about the upcoming event can be found on the event calendar listing.
