City of Mississauga releases its 2025 Financial and Sustainability Report and 2025 Financial Report Highlights

The City of Mississauga has released its 2025 Financial and Sustainability Report and the 2025 Financial Report Highlights online.

The City produces these reports annually and works to make them open, clear and easy to understand. This helps build trust with the public and shows investors that Mississauga is a reliable place to invest.

The 2025 Financial and Sustainability Report

This report details the City’s financial performance, sustainability initiatives, achievements and important activities and services that make Mississauga a world-class city. It also provides information about key financial policies and processes.

The 2025 Financial Report Highlights

Also called the Popular Report, the 2025 Financial Report Highlights document provides a snapshot of the City’s financial position. It is a short, easy-to-understand format for the public and others who are interested.

Both reports show that the City’s finances are strong and stable.

The City’s finances also demonstrate its top credit rating. For 22 years in a row, Standard & Poor Global Ratings has given the City its highest rating of ‘AAA-stable’.

The City has also been consistently recognized for excellence in financial reporting by industry organizations such as the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
