City-run Events and Activities That Add a Little Holiday Cheer to the Season

Tis the season for holiday fun. Don’t miss a thing: grab your calendar and mark down these City-run events and activities coming up this holiday season. There is something fun for everyone.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3

Museums: Event details – Museumsofmississauga.com 
• Crooked Christmas Photos at Bradley Museum: Pose with characters like the Grinch and the Mississauga Story Teller. Meet the mermaid rumoured to live in the Rattray Marsh. Proceeds will go to support the Friends of the Museums of Mississauga.

• Christmas Cookie Craft & Story Time at Meadowvale Library

• Paws n’ Mr. Claus Pet Pictures at Bradley Museum: Come to the Log Cabin at Bradley Museum with your pet and have their sweet face captured on camera with none other than Santa Claus. Proceeds will go to support the Mississauga Animal Services Special Care and Resources Fund (S.C.A.R.F) and the Friends of the Museums of Mississauga.

• Christmas Anticipation and Celebration at Bradley Museum: Children will explore the historic Bradley House and take part in holiday activities by baking gingerbread cookies and warming apple cider over the open hearth, as well as creating a tin punch ornament and corn husk angel.

• Christmas Portraits at Bradley Museum: Take your holiday family picture with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Proceeds will go to support the Friends of the Museums of Mississauga. Non-perishable food and toy donations will be accepted to support local food banks.
