If you enjoy a dog walk through the forest, then DogFest@Riverwood on Sunday, April 30 is the perfect event for you. Mississauga Animal Services in partnership with The Riverwood Conservancy invite all dog-lovers to come out and have some fun.
DogFest@Riverwood combines a fun three kilometre walkathon with a festival for dogs big and small, and their loving owners. There will be contests and prizes for you and your furry best friend. Be amazed by the Sporting Detection Dogs and their amazing scent sniffing abilities and visit the education displays and enjoy lunch with participating vendors.
DogFest@Riverwood proceeds will benefit both Mississauga Animal Services S.C.A.R.F (The Special Care for Animals and Resources Fund) to assist with veterinary care for shelter pets and The Riverwood Conservancy to support environmental education, conservation stewardship, volunteerism, gardening and horticulture programs at Riverwood.
Sunday, April 30, 2017, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
