Mississauga Renames Park in Honour of Community Leader Father Angelos Saad

On Sunday, September 26, Father Angelos Saad, community leader and beloved priest at the Church of Virgin Mary and St. Athanasius in Mississauga is being honoured with the renaming of Fallingbrook Park to Father Angelos Saad Park.

Dignitaries will celebrate Father Saad and his many contributions to the community with a plaque unveiling and tree planting ceremony. Media is invited to hear about Father Saad and his many contributions to the community.

Father Saad’s contributions to Mississauga have and continue to greatly impact the community and improve the lives of many, regardless of their faith. His work in the community includes providing education, training, child care and housing, as well as serving as the director for various organizations.

Background

Father Angelos Saad Park is one of the few parks in Mississauga with outdoor workout equipment. It also includes a splash pad, playground, baseball diamond and two soccer fields.
