On February 21, 2022, MiWay will be introducing a new Route 18 McLaughlin-Derry to provide more weekday service between north Mississauga and Brampton, and restoring service on Routes 101/101A Dundas Express to provide more weekday service capacity along Dundas Street.
“All routes in the transit system continue to be monitored regularly so that service levels are responsive to customers’ needs,” said Geoff Marinoff, Director, Transit. “MiWay continues to allocate service capacity where it’s needed and restore services that were temporarily suspended as our staffing levels continue to stabilize.”
New: Route 18 McLaughlin-Derry
This new alternative to the Route 66 McLaughlin provides customers transferring to or from Route 42 Derry with more options to connect to MiWay and Brampton Transit service.
Service resumes on Routes 101/101A Dundas Express
Service will be restored on Routes 101/101A Dundas Express to provide more weekday service capacity along the Dundas corridor and between the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) campus and the Kipling Bus Terminal in Toronto. These routes were temporarily suspended on January 7 and since in-person learning and work activities resumed at UTM on February 7, MiWay has seen an increase in customer demand along the Dundas corridor.
