New Supercourts to be Unveiled at Paul Coffey Park this Weekend

On Saturday, September 25, the Nav Bhatia Superfan Foundation will unveil four new basketball courts at Paul Coffey Park. At the unveiling, the Superfan himself, Nav Bhatia will join Mississauga dignitaries and partners for the unveiling. Media are exclusively invited to see and take photos of the new courts before they officially open to the public.

Background

Located in Ward 5, Malton’s Paul Coffey Park is a multi-use destination park that opened in 1968. The park is 112.4 acres and allows plenty of space for many activities. The Future Directions Parks and Forestry Master Plan is responsible for putting the renovations at the park into action, including the Paul Coffey Arena and Malton Adventure Playground.

The Nav Bhatia Superfan Foundation is a non-profit organization that is committed to raising money to build basketball courts and camps for youth across the globe. The foundation was started by past Malton resident and Raptors Superfan, Nav Bhatia.
