Second Annual DogFest@Riverwood to Take Place September 27th

Attention dog lovers! The Second Annual DogFest@Riverwood will take place Sunday, September 27. Mississauga Animal Services in partnership with The Riverwood Conservancy invites dog-owners, dog-lovers and the dog-curious to take part in the fun.

What:  DogFest@Riverwood is a fun festival for dogs and the people who love them. There will be contests and prizes, educational displays, vendors, refreshments, exciting pet performers and fun activities for kids including an open house and free art activities at Visual Arts Mississauga.

You can also join in the fun by participating in the Second Annual Fundraising Walk-A-Thon (1 km or 3 km trails). DogFest@Riverwood proceeds will benefit both The Riverwood Conservancy and Mississauga Animal Services S.C.A.R.F (The Special Care for Animals and Resources Fund).

When:  Sunday, September 27, 2015, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where:  4190 Riverwood Park Lane, Mississauga

Special Guest:  Mayor Bonnie Crombie and her dog “Adonis”
