Natalie Hart is a dedicated businessperson, volunteer and lifelong champion for the people who call Ward 5 home. She was first elected Ward 5 Councillor in Mississauga’s by-election on June 10, 2024 and took the Declaration of Office on June 24, 2024.
Raised in Mississauga before a career in banking and commercial lending took her across Ontario, she worked with entrepreneurs and business owners to grow their operations, create good jobs and build homes for families.
Returning to Mississauga more than a decade ago to be closer to her family, she has taken on a variety of roles focused on community building and bringing people together.
As the general manager of the Malton BIA from 2019 until her election to Mississauga City Council, she championed her community, working closely with local business and all levels of government to promote economic growth and tourism.
On Council, Natalie has supported initiatives to improve City services across Ward 5. She brought forward the Be A Good Neighbour pilot project to educate and enforce common property standards issues, such as litter and parking. She has prioritized work that increases safety in the community, including improved street lighting and increased police services. She is on the Board of the Malton BIA, where she continues to work on a $3 million project to bring a replica Avro Arrow to Malton, highlighting an important part of Canada’s aviation history and helps to lead the annual Canada Day celebration.
Natalie was appointed to the City’s newly formed Stormwater Advisory Committee to better advocate for residents impacted by flooding and she was proud to support the addition of windrow clearing to City snow removal services, starting in the winter of 2025-2026.
She is proud to work with the Punjabi Golfers Association to support their Annual Charity Tournament, which has raised over $60,000 for the Seva Food Bank and several other local charities.
